Shiny things updated
February 8, 2007 at 5:55 pm | In shiny things | 4 CommentsI seem to be on a jewelry-making kick lately. Knitting has sort of been put down for the moment, though I’m working on a project I need to complete soon, since the recipient’s birthday is coming up, and I didn’t get her anything for Christmas (yeah, I know, I’m a really good friend).
Anyway, necklaces here.

I must tell you, every time you post pictures of necklaces and other items done with beads, I love it. Now as soon as I get back to Las Vegas I am going on a bead hunt to try my hand at it.
Thank you! =)

Aundra, I would love to make you some jewelry, except that you have the most sensitive skin in the ENTIRE WORLD, and every time I’ve bought you a shiny object, you haven’t been able to wear it. WHat, pray tell, are you NOT allergic to?
Kimberly, thanks! You should definitely try it–it’s so much fun to make your own stuff. And it’s way easy!

I’m just allergic to nickel. That’s it. It just happens that EVERYTHING seems to have nickel in it.
