Sewing
Sewing never really captured my heart the way knitting and spinning did, probably because there’s a machine in use. Also, I’m not good enough to work without a pattern, which also contributes to my feelings about it. However, I do enjoy it; I just don’t sew as often as I knit.
Little black skirt
This skirt is McCall’s Quick & Easy (#3341). I didn’t really modify the pattern, except that I used an invisible zipper (that turned out to be not so invisible) instead of a lapped one, and I sewed the hem differently from the instructions because I had no idea what they were talking about. The material is black wool. I plan on embroidering some flowers along the bottom, cause I think the skirt is a little too severe as is.
